Pine forest in Cayey, Puerto Rico (bosque de pinos), the perfect backdrop for Fiorella and Octavio’s engagement session. When discussing ideas for their session, Fiorella stated she wanted it to be outdoors, maybe a forest. I had been here only once with my wife and daughters, but we didn’t explore much, so I had no idea what the rest of forest looked like. It didn’t disappoint! See for yourselves: (Oh, and try to spot the one shot from a drone!)
In honor of Throwback Thursday (#TBT), I’m going back to 2011! Amneris and Dalberto wanted to shoot in Palominito and Icacos at sunrise. Palominito and Icacos are small islands located near the coast of Fajardo, Puerto Rico. The good thing was that they had mini boats! We got to the marina Puerto Chico at 5AM to get ready and be in Palominito before sunrise. Sadly, I don’t have behind the scenes footage, but it sure was fun and a bit scary to carry ALL my gear in this small boat. After boating for about 15 minutes we got to Palominito and, thankfully, the light was over the top! We were there for about 30 minutes (and I was already over the moon with what we had shot) but to make things even better, we hopped into the boat and headed to Icacos. The water there is crazy clear. We climbed through rocks and got to an unbelievable spot with a wonderful VIEW.
This may seem like a dream to you, but if you don’t believe me, I have some images to prove it! 😛 Enjoy!
